‘Sand Up Comedy’ breaks barriers with US cultural exchange and comedy tour
The ‘Sand Up Comedy’ project will kick off on Tuesday, November 1 in Los Angeles starting with a welcome reception in Beverly Hills. The project includes a US-based cultural exchange platform with workshops plus a nationwide comedy tour. ‘Sand Up Comedy’ features five Saudi comedians along with special guests and will visit five cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, and New York. The tour’s lineup boast the incomparable talents of Khalid Khalifa, Shakir Sharif, Thamer Alhazmi, Yaser Bakr, and comedienne Lama Alfard. After gaining notoriety in Saudi Arabia and some instances throughout the world, these comedic entertainers introduce a one-of-a-kind experience of hilarious stand-up skits and unstoppable laughs. Following the welcome reception, ‘Sand Up Comedy’ will launch with a one-week mentorship seminar led by renowned actor and US comedian Ahmed Ahmed followed by ten live stand-up performances.
