Cdot, born Charles Wright has been writing and rapping since the age of ten. On a visit to his grandmas house with his cousins his older cousin, Shawn, made him battle rap his other cousin D'Shae. Running to go scribble down the words after so he wouldn't forget, Cdot never would've guessed that 'They call me lil C and you can touch me , cuz yes I'm on top, and you know i really rock' would just be the beginning of what would become a hobby, pastime, and passion.
From there a beast was created. Over the next ten years it was like nothing but the music mattered. Cdot received a boom box as a gift from his mother which he used to tune into Clevelands 107.9,and after that it was a rare occasion to spot him anywhere but next to the radio. His mother had to threaten to get rid of it just to keep the young artist from staying up on school nights listening to the music. During homework time the radio would be blasting and in between decimals and fractions Cdot would bang out the rhythm of the beat with the tapping of his pencil.
