Singer and songwriter Sonita announces debut single, "Do Me"
Multi-talented songstress releases new electro-pop dance single
Nigerian born singer and songwriter Sonita has announced for the release of her debut single titled "Do Me." The electro-pop fueled dance track features a combination of Sonita’s stunning voice as she channels her strongest vocals for the melodic hook. "Do Me" is available on iTunes at http://buff.ly/1OCWvZl and will be released on Vevo and Youtube on February 3.
Released under Sonita’s independent label Prosper Records, "Do Me" was produced by Heath Ripplinger of Rip Shore Studios. Pinned by Sonita, the song’s lyrics are charged with very sensual undertones that are further intensified as her vocals unfold. The multi-talented artist spares no expense when creating music that will connect with her fans.
At the age of 12, she began singing at her church in Africa and later formed a local girl group with some friends to further cultivate her musical talent. After enduring several setbacks as she tried to launch her music career, Sonita took it upon herself to get her work out to the masses and formed Prosper Records. The emerging songstress has been hard at work putting together her first full-length project. With "Do Me" being the first record to drop from her forthcoming album, Sonita plans to release the official music video for the track in March.
