R&B and Gospel Artist Dan Kenneth Releases New Single "From The Heart"

"From the Heart" is from soon to be released full-length album 

Los Angeles, CA - January 8, 2018 -- Dan Kenneth is a man of faith. It guides him through life and has helped him through personal and family difficulties. He wants to share his message through his music to listeners, no matter what their beliefs are. "From The Heart" lets Dan express his musical style and share what has given him strength.

"From The Heart" is, on its face, an R&B song. Infused with flavors of rock, neo-soul, and old-school funk, it becomes something more. Dan expertly layers in lyrics that convey faith and belief in a way that doesn’t alienate listeners who don’t subscribe to any particular religion, which is by design. His intention was to create a listening experience that was both enjoyable for a mass audience, and deeply personal, honest and reflective of his day to day life.   

"From The Heart", wouldn’t be possible without Dan’s vision for his work and his talented team. Dan is lead vocalist and co-writer, and he also provided some background vocals. Rod Clemmons is the producer, co-writer, arranger, and music director, and performed keyboards, drums, bass and background vocals. Tomas Doncker played guitar and Raven White sang background vocals. The album was recorded in New York City, Verdict Studios. The single can be heard on radio stations across the US on January 22nd. The full album "From The Heart" will be available for purchase on all major music platforms on January 12th. 

A music video for the single "From The Heart" is set for release on February 5th and will be available on Dan’s YouTube Channel. Dan Kenneth is a contemporary R&B and Gospel artist from Wilmington, Delaware. With deep family ties to his hometown and the South, Dan’s motivation to make music is rooted in his faith. Early in life, Dan started his musical career performing with local Wilmington group "Vision," whose spiritual music fused R&B and jazz in a non-traditional style. Dan continued to make music, and his career was jumpstarted by his partnership with writer and producer Rod Clemmons of Verdict Records. Together, they collaborated to create a collection of songs that celebrate Dan as an artist and his creative and spiritual vision.
