Sydney Sprague Reveals New Feminist Anthem "ABomb" on March 16th
Singer/Songwriter Sydney Uses Explosive Lyrics to Give a Voice to the Degradation of Women, Immigrants and America
Los Angeles, CA - March 15, 2018 -- Americana/Indie Alternative/POP Singer/Songwriter Sydney Spragues' new single, "ABomb," takes an unflinching look at todays societal problems that give her the most anxiety.
From corrupt government officials passing anti-women legislation and peppering their public remarks with divisive and racist rhetoric to lax gun laws leading to violent school shootings that leave innocent school children traumatized, it’s easy to feel hopeless. Sydney Sprague uses music as a weapon to fight back against these daily fireballs launched that assault us all as we move through the world, and proves that speaking out and raising your voice can lead to lasting change.
Sydney wrote, produced, sang vocals and played guitar for "ABomb." Cory Spotts co-produced and played guitar and bass, while Marty Welker played drums. The track was recorded at BLUElight Audio Media in Phoenix, AZ.
The accompanying music video for "ABomb" was shot at the Women’s March in Downtown Los Angeles. Interspersed with shots of strong women and girls proudly displaying their protest messages as they gaze directly into the camera, the video builds a feeling of hope and community. The video was Directed by Natasha Wilson and filmed by Videographer Darrin Bush.
