(Los Angeles, CA) Feb. 25, 2020 — Hip-hop group, GVNG GREEN, released their first studio album, “Gang Green.” The album comes from the recently formed hip-hop group, made up of two artists Goddi and StaJe.
The album has a partial west coast sound, mixed with a southern country, hip-hop, rap, and R&B. GVNG GREEN’s message is to focus on family and money, rather than drugs and gang affiliations. They believe that family isn’t necessarily blood, but it’s those you trust and allow to be in your circle. This movement is the inspiration for their album. They believe it’s okay to let go of the hurt and pain in the world in order to focus on a brighter and successful future, all while surrounding yourself with that family to support you, and you support them.
In 2019, StaJe released 5 singles. Goddi released his first mixtape, “Luke 11:23,” in 2019. This year, with StaJe's southern country voice and Goddi's west coast sound they’ve blended together to create a new never before heard sound. It’s easy to see why this pair work so well together.
