This book is a collection of lyrics and poetry Estelle wrote while she was in France working her way to healing from her past.
In the same way that she writes her songs, Estelle channeled these words from her soul or subconscious. “As these words came beyond my will, in few minutes each time with such a coherence, I had no other choice than to accept that they were coming from a place that knew better than me,” Estelle writes in the intro.
Estelle hopes that, like the soul-filled music in her latest EP My Name Is Freedom, Des Boucles D’or provides inspiration and hope for people who are searching for healing. She lays out her own truth for others to learn from her journey.
