(Los Angeles, CA) October 2, 2020 -- Vixu an alternative R&B/Indie singer, songwriter, producer, and pianist releases his latest hit single and music video “Jackie”.
“Jackie” is a lustful account of trying to suppress an intense romantic connection in the workplace, yet ultimately giving in.
In anticipation of the release, Vixu submitted the song for a Music Monday review by the podcast R&B Radar. The hosts' reactions were instinctually adverse, but Vixu took their entertaining banter all in stride and made a new clip out of it, which can be viewed on YouTube.
Vixu, the Toronto-based artist, produced the song and video for “Jackie” himself. This past June, Victor started filming in different parts of the city that felt abandoned from the recent pandemic.
“I think the end result successfully captured the sense of feeling lost in May and June, paired with the comfort of new, rich, and somewhat secretive relationship,” says Vixu.
