(Los Angeles, CA) November 13, 2020 -- Up and coming hip-hop/R&B artist, Bleary, begins debut project, a single titled “Sever”.
In the single, Bleary inhabits the dark, down-tempo, and groovy spheres of hip-hop and R&B. “Sever” is created from times of loss, frustration, and acceptance. Inspiration from sounds in this project came from artists like Russ, J. Cole, and those tracks with a sentimental feel to connect with listeners.
“Sever” will be followed up by two more singles and an EP, segmented into different sub-genres of hip-hop. Listeners can expect to hear both melodic tunes like Lil Peep/AFI and funky and trappy styles with OZZIE BEATS.
Bleary survived a deadly blow to the head which was a hard reset for him, but motivated him to take music on full-time to share his ups and downs of life. “I just kind of started feeling like I was out of time, like one of those ‘if I don’t do it now, I probably never will’ moments,” says Bleary.
