(Los Angeles, CA) March 15, 2021 -- Chicago-based R&B/Soul artist, Hi Love releases “Queen and Slim”, from her latest 6-track EP, Cold Wind.

“Queen and Slim” has a familiar sound as Hi Love takes a sample used in Kanye West’s “Bound 2”. Hi Love was inspired by love scenes from the 2019 romantic drama by the same name. “Queen & Slim” is about having an intense connection with someone to the point that you know you both are “bound to fall in love”, as says in the chorus.

Hi Love spreads soft melodic harmonies throughout the track while combining smooth, modern-day sounds with a twist of 90’s R&B and hip-hop in the single, “Queen and Slim”.

Cold Wind is about finding one's place in this cold world and obtaining warmth only through the power of love and truth.
