Wylie's musical journey began in his early childhood, where he developed a deep passion for music. In the early years, he honed his skills and collaborated with childhood friends and fellow musicians, culminating in the formation of the band Ancient Greece Monkey in 2010. Wylie then moved to Nashville, TN where he spent 3 years working with Grammy award winning writers, artists and session players exploring a variety of styles. There Wylie cultivated his own unique songwriting style and voice. Throughout his career, Wylie has released a variety of notable projects, including his recent compilation of older work, "Vintage Digital," which is available on all major platforms. Additionally, he has plans to re-release some of his instrumental projects and popular singles in the near future.
Describing "The Muse" as a cinematic ambient pop record, Wylie masterfully combines ambient soundscapes with lyric-driven compositions, creating a captivating listening experience. The EP showcases Wylie's multifaceted talents as he assumes the roles of producer, writer, vocalist, and instrumentalist for all tracks. Additional production along with mixing and mastering of the EP were expertly handled by Sean Spence at The Blue Grotto in Brentwood, TN.
