Indian American Pop Singer SuriLee releases new music video for single "Don’t Know"
Los Angeles, CA - November 6, 2017 -- There are two cultures shaping pop artist SuriLee’s music, her childhood in India where she grew up performing Bollywood favorites for friends and family, and her college years spent in the US listening to American pop music. SuriLee’s new album "Wild Lily" combines these cultures in surprising ways, but the new music video for "Don’t Know" allows SuriLee to explore how her life in India has shaped her.
"Don’t Know" was shot completely in India. The video features SuriLee singing against the beautiful backdrop of the Indian seaside. She wears different gowns throughout the video, provided by Style Experts of Mumbai, representing the different sides of SuriLee’s personality. Style Experts of Mumbai provided wardrobe for the video.
A fantastic crew made the video for "Don’t Know" a reality. Director Ganesh Konar, along with Assistant Director Aishwarya Singh helped bring SuriLee’s vision to life. Additional credits include Executive Producer Chirag Thakkar, Director of Photography Aniket K, Assistant DOP Kunal Paradkar, Editor Harshad Vaity, Colorist Kundan Singh and Makeup and Hair by Bhuvnesh Jain. SuriLee served as Producer.
The lyrics, vocals and music for "Don’t Know" are by SuriLee. The track was co-produced by David Hughes, and was recorded, mixed and mastered at Shin-on-Studios in Oakland, CA.
When asked about her experience shooting the video, SuriLee says, "Shot completely in India, I felt right at home!! Sitting in the lap of mother nature, I couldn't have asked for more - Beautiful scenic location, amazing and hard-working crew on set, who treated me like family. It was also an honor to work with my director Ganesh Konar, who is a creative genius and my dear friend and an accomplished Bollywood actor himself Chirag Thakkar, the executive producer, who made it all happen!"

SuriLee is a singer, lyricist, composer, and producer currently living in Fremont, CA. She grew up in Mumbai, India and came to the US when she was 18. She attended the University of Baltimore, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting.
