Ezra Jordan releases new single "10 Miles a Minute"

Ontario singer/songwriter releases a catchy tune for the summer

Los Angeles, CA - June 18, 2018 -- "10 Miles a Minute," the new rhythmic single from songwriting prodigy Ezra Jordan is both upbeat and catchy. Jordan was exposed to the music industry at an early age and always had a passion to express himself musically. Songwriting proved to be the perfect outlet for the young artist. He experienced fame through his parent’s eyes as a child but has had to overcome his own struggles to get his music where it is today. "10 Miles a Minute" represents liberation. Recently released, Jordan gives his fans the perfect song for the summer. It’s a fun, catchy tune that will have listeners dancing at every beat.

Jordan is no stranger to the music industry. His father, Marc Jordan wrote music with powerhouses like Rod Stewart and Josh Groban. Not only is his father known in the music world but his mother, Amy Sky worked with many artists including Olivia-Newton John. Ezra has been surrounded by music since his earliest days. He began playing the piano when he was 4-years-old. Although he also learned to play guitar and drums while growing up, piano remains his main instrument.

Life has not always been easy for Jordan. At the age of 18, Ezra suffered a traumatic and life-threatening sports injury to his leg. He endured an 18-month recovery process, that disabled him from properly sitting at the piano. Seeking a different musical outlet, Ezra turned to singing and writing songs. With a newfound ability to sing and an innate sense for songwriting, Ezra joined Juno-nominated singer-songwriter Scott Helman as his keyboard player and backup singer.

Following his stint with Scott Helman, Ezra moved to Los Angeles to attend the Musician’s Institute and focus on his solo career. He successfully completed their Independent Artist Program, and returned to Toronto, working on releasing his own music.

With a musical upbringing and a fresh take on pop music, Ezra Jordan is only just scratching the surface of his musical potential.

"10 Miles a Minute" is now available on iTunes and Spotify.
