Vocalist Johanna Breed is excited to release the video for "Mister" on the heels of her debut EP. A Maine native currently based in Greensboro, NC, Breed built strong connections in her local music scene supporting other acts as a backup singer and pianist before launching her own career. Her community supported the creation of the video for "Mister" through a Kickstarter campaign she completed in the fall of 2018.
Throughout "Mister," Breed creates a dreamy, ethereal atmosphere filled with cinematic shots of outdoor landscapes that communicate themes of freedom, exploration, and joy as she imagines herself as a warrior woman of the future. Bouncy and uplifting, "Mister" is a standout track from Breed’s debut EP "Is It Too Late?." She worked with producer Quilla whose background in vocal production helped put Breed’s vocal skills and unique lyrical style front-and-center. "Is It Too Late?" is an all-female creation and was released on Quilla's label, Ritual Fire Records.
